Pillars of Creation: Hold our Hand

Cosmos Book 2

Pillars of Creation:

Is a poem based around the rekindling of interest in the Pillars of Creation from the the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995.
The magnificent photograph from Hubb's which has been adapted for this poem on the front cover.

They appear to be like a 3 fingered hand reaching further up into the Universe.

They are in the constellation of Serpens.

Each finger is a Huge 3 to 5 Light years in length.

They are about 6,500 Light years from Earth.

Quite a long way on a bus or car.
