Notre Dame: Flames cannot hurt you

Notre Dame: Flames cannot hurt you

Gives a poetical insight into Notre Dame history and what it means for France and the World.

Notre Dame, literally means 'Our Lady'.

It was written in response, soon after the fire that engulfed this historic building.
Notre Dame is more than a building to France. It is a 'living' embodiment of the culture of France.
It was due to be completed in its renovation late 2024 and has reopened to the Public from the ashes of 2019.

Ongoing Work is still taking place. Small interior projects, specific stained glass installations, and the surrounding area continues through 2026.

This poem focuses on the damage, and its innate self-healing for France, as a cultural icon.
